RoboRacer Autonomous Racing is a competition organized by an international community of researchers, engineers, and autonomous systems enthusiasts. The competition brings together teams from around the world to compete in autonomous racing using 1:10 scaled race cars.
RoboRacer Korea is the official organization that promotes and organizes autonomous racing competitions in Korea. As part of the international RoboRacer community, RoboRacer Korea hosts official championship series events that bring together teams from universities, research institutions, and companies to compete in cutting-edge autonomous driving technology.
The 2026 RoboRacer PNU-HYUNSONG CHAMPIONSHIP is an official RoboRacer Korea championship series event. This championship is co-hosted by RoboRacer Korea, Pusan National University (PNU) RISE Future Mobility UIC, and the National University Development Project Future Mobility Specialization Program. This championship will feature 30 teams from domestic and international institutions competing in autonomous racing.
As part of the official RoboRacer Korea Race Series, this championship follows the international standards and regulations set by the RoboRacer community, ensuring fair competition and high-quality autonomous racing experiences for all participants.
Teams participating in the championship will build a 1:10 scaled autonomous race car according to given specifications and write software for it to fulfill the competition objectives: Don't crash and minimize laptime.
The competition consists of qualification sessions and knockout racing phases. Teams must demonstrate their ability to complete laps without colliding with track boundaries, then compete in head-to-head racing matches.
